The absence of an elevator is frustrating!!! Those infamous steep, narrow stairs can be quite hazardous for heavy luggage!!! Furthermore, the size of the rooms leaves much to be desired, especially for families. Poor bathroom ventilation could also use some attention!!!

The Double Room with Canal View was a cozy gem! Super clean and modern, with a comfy bed that made for a great night's sleep. I loved waking up to the canal view—it was stunning. The location was perfect for exploring, all while being in a quiet neighborhood. The only downside was that the stairs were a bit steep, so keep that in mind if you're carrying heavy luggage.

the stanley collection hotel hegra is in a fantastic location along the herengracht canal, making it easy to explore the area. the double room was clean and cozy with large windows, so we enjoyed sitting and watching the boats pass. the staff, especially paulo, were incredibly helpful, understanding my mobility issues and providing great assistance.
